I want to start organizing it early because I see lots of stuff from Group 1 to fix and make better all at once so that it's not constantly changing! For example, we'll have RAK wish lists from the beginning and everything MUCH more organized so that's it easier to send out happy mail to people!! Live and learn, right!?<br /><br />Anyways, the new happy mail will be for May and June! I will take sign ups on this post. All you have to do is leave your email address (even if you are in happy mail group one, I still need you to leave your email address on this post if you want to re-sign up!)<br /><br />I will take sign ups for the next week - through April 17th - and once you sign up, make sure you watch your email for an email from me at gotspirit2peas@gmail.com<br /><br />For those of you who are new to this, the basic format is: Everyone who signs up will receive a happy mail partner chosen at random that I will assign to you. You must send your happy mail partner some form of happy mail (a letter, a small package, etc) at least once every other week. There is also a RAK list that you can opt to NOT be added to (but I promise you, you don't want to miss out on the fun!) and RAK wish lists.... So you have the OPTION to send and receive LOTS of happy mail!!!<br /><br />Group One was such an infectiously happy group. You could not go to our happy mail thread without feeling really happy upon leaving it!! I hope you will join! A lot. Every once in awhile amidst the countless bills, there's a small package or card that says my name on it. And my day is automatically better, no matter what!<br /><br />So here's the deal. We're all about spreading cheer and happiness and spirit in the Pub, right? What better way is there to do that then through our mailboxes!<br /><br />The point of happy mail is that it doesn't have to be BIG. It could be a homemade card, a comic you found in the newspaper that you think your partner will like, a small goody (even from your own collection), or really anything that just says "Hey! I'm thinking of you today! Hope you're smiling!"<br /><br />So, here at the Spirit Blog, we're going to organize a Happy Mail group. Reply here that you want to be in it with your name and email address and I will get them all together and sort it out! This will be a two month commitment to your partner - for March and April. And then we will start a new happy mail group so you can stay in or drop out. There is NO monetary minimum commitments because the point of this is not to go out and spend a ton of money. The only requirement is that you send some happy mail to your partner at least once every other week. Not too bad, right?<br /><br />Wanna know what will be even better? You'll ALSO receive happy mail at least once every other week! AND maybe some more happy mail randomly from certain Spirit Girls! ;)<br /><br />So play along with us and let's all get some happiness spreadin' around!
